4. Google user data

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information solely to create and authenticate your EarnMyTasks account. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or any other sensitive or restricted Google data.

EarnMyTasks's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties except as needed to provide the sign-in feature.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the following categories of recipients, and only as needed:

• Service providers that run our infrastructure and core functions — for example our hosting and database providers and our authentication provider — under agreements that require them to protect your data.
• Payment providers (such as PayPal and Stripe) to process your payouts.
• The businesses whose tasks you complete may receive the public proof of completion you submit (for example a public comment link), but not your contact or payout details.
• Authorities or other parties when we are legally required to do so, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your country for currency display. We do not use these cookies for advertising. You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the service may not work if you do.

7. Data retention

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. We may retain certain records — such as payout history — for longer where required to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
